Blackened Snapper

Repeat after me, “blackened” does not mean burnt! Blackened does not mean so spicy you can’t feel your tongue.” A good blackened fish should have tons of flavor, and yet still be delicate and enjoyable. You may never find a simpler recipe.

- Combine Creole Seasoning with Brown Sugar.
- Rub fish with seasoning generously.
- In a large cast iron skillet, heat oil and butter.
- Add a few of the lemon slices, and cook fish 3 minutes per side.
- Serve with remaining lemon, and garnish with fresh parsley if you desire.
