Blackened Snapper

Prep Time: 10 min. Cook Time: 10 min.
Repeat after me, “blackened” does not mean burnt! Blackened does not mean so spicy you can’t feel your tongue.” A good blackened fish should have tons of flavor, and yet still be delicate and enjoyable. You may never find a simpler recipe.
Ingredients
  • 4 Red Snapper Filets
  • 1 Lemon, Sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. Creole Spice Crack Seasoning (Buy Here)
  • 2 Tsp. Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Unsalted Butter
Directions
  1. Combine Creole Seasoning with Brown Sugar.
  2. Rub fish with seasoning generously.
  3. In a large cast iron skillet, heat oil and butter.
  4. Add a few of the lemon slices, and cook fish 3 minutes per side.
  5. Serve with remaining lemon, and garnish with fresh parsley if you desire.
