Italian Sandwich on Rosemary Focaccia
One of my favorites, the ITALIAN SANDWICH!
A sandwich doesn’t have to be boring, and this one is extra special because it’s all locally sourced. The fresh mozzarella is from Black Radish Creamery in the North Market here in Columbus Ohio. The Rosemary Focaccia, that’s a special treat from Omega Artisan Bakery also in the North Market. Add in some local meats from Carfagna, herbs, and olive oil and you’ve got a hit!

The “Double-Bun” Buffalo Chicken
Sometimes going over the top is exactly what you need. That’s what happened here, a 1 lb. chicken breast, lightly pounded and brined for 2 days. Then deep fried and tossed in my special recipe buffalo sauce and topped with Bleu Cheese crumbles. It was so big, it needed 2 buns, hence the name! You’ll want to stop back soon for the recipe.
Pizzzzaaahhhhhh 🤤
Who doesn’t love pizza right? And there’s nothing like making your own dough. I wish I could have New York City water shipped to me for my dough. I swear it makes the best. Yes, thin crust over thick, fold it bite it, love it. Pizza is also a great way to teach kids about cooking. That Picasso shaped pizza you see...that was a young mans masterpiece and he loved learning as much as he did eating. What’s your go to topping?
