Italian Dressing Seasoning

Picture
Serves: N/A
Prep Time: 5 min. Cook Time: 5 min.
I can't imagine buying a seasoning packet laden with salt, to make salad dressing.  I love making my own dressing, it's always much more vibrant and fresh.  In working on another recipe, my Better than "OG" Italian dressing, I needed to come up with an herb blend that would be the base of what I wanted to create.  Now I'm sharing it with you!
Ingredients
  • 2 Tsp. Granulated Garlic
  • 1 Tsp. Onion Powder
  • 2 Tbsp. Kosher Salt
  • 1 Tsp. Black Pepper
  • 2 Tsp. Dried Oregano
  • 1 Tsp. Dried Basil
  • 1 Tsp. Dried Parsley
  • 1/2 Tsp. Ground or Dried Thyme
  • 1 Tsp. Sugar
Directions
  1. Whisk together all ingredients, or for a finer mixture pulse in your food processor!
  2. Store in an airtight container for up to one month.
Enjoy!

Sulli Says: This blend is ready to go, you can add 1/2 Cup distilled white vinegar an whisk in 2/3 Cup of Olive Oil (or vegetable oil) and you've got a tangy, delicious salad dressing.  Or you can check out my awesome alternative here: Better than "OG" Italian Dressing.
